Recycling on the Runway: Trashion Show
The Milwaukie Arts Committee presents: Recycling on the Runway: a Trashion Show Spectacular! A fun event for family and friends.
Date: Sept. 7, 2024
Time: Registration 12:00 sharp and the show begins at 12:30
Location: During the Milwaukie Sustainability Fair, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Farmer’s Market area in downtown Milwaukie.

Recycling on the Runway will have adult and youth prize categories with assorted new and recycled prizes (including one $75 gift card from Mama and Hapa’s, gorgeous hand-hewn wood art by the talented Gale Schmidt, etc) and two grand prizes of $100 each!
Unleash your creativity by crafting fun, glamorous, silly, serious, science fiction-themed, exciting, strange or just plain amazing wearable art outfits using recycled/upcycled/reused materials! (the only new materials allowed in outer garment are fasteners like safety pins, tape, etc. Example: No new garbage bags, or new materials)
