AL Post 180 at the Portland Veterans Day Parade 2023

Join us for the 2023 Portland Veterans Day Parade as we proudly showcase the American Legion Post 180’s involvement! 🇺🇸

When: ALR members are invited to gather at 8 a.m. to prepare for the parade march, and parade viewers should mark their calendars for 10 a.m.

Where: The parade route in Portland (Please see Location (veteransdaypdx.org) for the route).

The American Legion Riders (ALR) will lead the way, demonstrating our unwavering support for veterans and active-duty military personnel. It’s an opportunity to salute those who’ve served and to honor the sacrifices they’ve made.

After the parade, we invite you to continue the camaraderie at the Post 180 headquarters. We’ll be serving up delicious $3.00 burgers, $1.50 hot dogs, and $1.00 Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR) beers from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Your appetite will be satisfied and your thirst quenched, all while supporting a great cause.

Poppies will also be available for purchase to raise funds for veterans in need. Your contribution will make a difference in the lives of those who have served our country.

But the festivities don’t end there! Stick around, as the talented Post 185 band will be performing live from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Post 180 hall. It’s the perfect way to unwind and enjoy some great music in the company of fellow patriots.
